Ten Instagram Accounts You Should Be Following In 2018

With the holiday season behind us, we say good-bye to sleep-ins, copious amounts of delicious food, + the luxury of losing track of time.  Getting back into the swing of things can be a bit of a struggle - even when you have the best job in the world!  When we are feeling like we need an inspiration boost, we often look to social media to inspire us, and Instagram is still our favourite platform.  To kick off the new year, we thought we would share ten of our favourite design, travel, + lifestyle Instagram accounts to follow in 2018 that might just inspire you too!

We have been long time followers (and fans) of Cocokelly founded by Cassandra LaValle. Her content is so vibrant and unique, how could you not be inspired??

We have been long time followers of Cocokelly founded by Cassandra LaValle.  Creating original posts with a consistent (and contagious) aesthetic, we think her blog is one of the best in the biz.  Her content is so vibrant and unique, how could you not be inspired??

2bpetra is one of our more recent discoveries. Petra's home is full of modern Scandinavian vibes and texture. We especially love her use of black as it is ironically refreshing.

A interior designer based in Toronto (yay for a fellow Canadian!), Jacquelyn Clark of @larkandlinen has built one of the prettiest blogs around and her Instagram feed is no different.  Along with her own interior design projects, she often shares original recipes, quick snaps from a cafe she's sitting in, + her own travel photos (all impeccably photographed).  Her sweet pup Sage makes it in the odd shot as well :)

@heydavina

Heydavina shows us what it is like to be a local in New York City. Her pictures of cafes, bars and scenery that seems to be right outside her door, makes us want to pack up and jump on a plane to the big apple.

thebelleabroad is run by Caroline, a southern belle traveling the world. From China, to Hawaii to London, it seems like there isn't a country Caroline hasn't explored. So if you're in need of some sandy blue beaches or a wintery city skyline, her account has all the travel inspiration you could ever want.

theglasspassage is a collection of (the best - in our opinion!) travel images from all different instagrams over the world. We think it is pretty obvious why we love this account so much - the images speak for themselves!

A Texan living in Berlin, @meredithbraden's feed is #travelgoals. In addition to selling her own prints, she also curates theglasspassage, a collection of (some of the best - in our opinion!) travel images from different photographers over the world.  We think it is pretty obvious why we love this account so much - her images speak for themselves!

@proverbs31ministries

Proverbs31ministries reminds us to be thankful for the good, the bad and everything in between. It also resets our perspective on life when we loose sight of what is truly important.

Proverbs31ministries is a refreshing part of our feed, gently reminding us to be thankful for the good, the bad, + everything in between.  A mixture of quotes and scripture, the simple imagery helps us keep a balanced perspective on life when it gets tricky to see above the daily challenges we all face.

Shereadstruth is another Instagram that helps us to stay focused on what is important.

Elana of @elanaloo is a photographer + marketing creative living in Hawaii (ok, we're just a little jealous...).  Her thoughtful writing with each post goes beyond the stunning imagery - truly a beautiful soul, inside + out.

Of course, we hope you are following along with us @farmersdaughterinteriors where we share snapshots of our daily work, what's inspiring us,  + behind-the-scenes looks at our projects in progress.
